[GOOD CLAY even if your laughter has probably already alerted the entire crew. BUT WHATEVER]
[He'll find Allen in Ino's personnel room, sitting on a chair with his hand on his face that is beet red. You don't even get much of a greeting, just him holding up the now tainted communicator for Clay. He...he has no idea what to do about that last response he just wants it gone]
[Clay still feels like he'll burst into laughter any second here, and he can't help having a big grin on his face as he steps into the room. He waves to Ino, then goes straight to Allen, taking the communicator with one hand and wrapping an arm around his front from behind with the other arm. And -
Oh god. Oh god, this whole conversation - HIS CHEEKS HURT. He tries to hold back laughter, but there is definitely some in his voice as he raises his eyebrows and looks down at Allen.]
Oooh, blonde douchebag, eh? [He sounds more amused than anything here, as he's preeeeetty sure Allen forgot it was there. NOT LIKE THEY'RE SERIOUS OR ANYTHING, BUT.]
[Y-YEAH. HE MAY HAVE LOOKED OVER THAT PART IN FAVOR OF STEFAN'S HIPBONES. Excuse him as he squirms a little in Clay's arm while trying to look at the screen]
Oh God- Alex! [YEP TURNS OUT HE CAN GET EVEN REDDER] T-T-That's just a relationship that's very much over! And has been for a long time!
[He gives his chest a couple of reassuring pats before he straightens up and moves away, now covering his mouth to try holding back his laughter. He knows, he knows he shouldn't be looking at this, but this is just too funny. Poor Alex, man. Poor Stefan.]
[ Ino's still on the phone with Cass, but in the middle of the conversation she's coming over to make a grabby hand at Allen's communicator. She needs it back!!
She might also be making a certain type of face at Clay having had his arm around Allen just now. HEH HEHHH. ]
[ Meanwhile he's just glad the communicator isn't in his hands. It makes this a lot easier to think about if he doesn't have to do the talking to Alex.]
I can't believe she has that much of a...thing for who has to be the most religious guy in the fleet.
[Aww, and here Clay was just about to get some juicy details! Maybe! Still, he hands it over without a fuss, waggling his eyebrows playfully at the hilarity of it all. Ino's turn it is!
And totally gonna ignore that face she made, yep yep]
Well, I can't exactly blame her. Looking at Stefan is like looking at the sun sometimes.
[In other words: YEAH... YEAH, HE'S HOT.]
I just didn't think she'd go to you about it. [Allen is kind of... the least helpful at these things and all.]
[You know you spend a lot of time with Clay when the space analogies start making sense without thinking about it]
...Ah, sure if you're ready to burn if you get too close. He's really nice, but when I talk to him I just end up feeling like a terrible Christian compared to him- and he's Muslim.
[Even with the potential vampire thing!!]
I know. I have no idea why she would think I'd be a good... [...unless it was because of the host club which is how she knew him in Paradisa...]
[See, that's why comparing Stefan to the sun is a perfect analogy! That next part though, that makes him sit on a table nearby and lean in, eager to hear more.]
Well? You can't just say something like that and not give us the deets!
[THIS IS NOT A CONVERSATION HE WANTED TO HAVE WITH CLAY. But at the rate Alex is going, it's probably...better to just hear it from him instead. Right? Right.]
Awhile back in Paradisa, I...fell into a lot of debt, and needed money. [Thanks a LOT for that Cross] And there was a very well paying job with a...[I want to fall into a black hole right now] ...with a host club. So I took it and worked with them a...couple years.
And Alex was one of our clients, so...that's...that's how I met her.
[At first, Clay just stares wide-eyed. Then a smile starts to spread across his face, and he immediately looks like he's trying to hold back the laughter that's threatening to burst out. And he's doing pretty good at it!
But then he looks at Ino, who is pretty much doing the same thing.
And, in the end, that's what makes him first let out a snicker, then just give in and laugh. This guy, who's been blushing furiously over this whole thing and wanted to pass the conversation off to the two of them, WORKED AT A HOST CLUB?
[Clay isn't exactly paying attention to his surroundings, so the pillow hits the side of his head and falls to the table beside him. Which is a damn good thing right about now, because Apollo working as a stripper - that just sends straight from jovial laughter to hysterics. He grabs the pillow and presses it to his face to roar into that, at least quieting down thanks to it, and falls to his back while curling into almost a fetal position.
Oh god. He can't breathe, he's laughing too much. There are tears comes out of his eyes from it, this is too much.]
[DAMMIT. THAT'LL TEACH HIM TO EVER LISTEN TO RUMORS. And that one seemed so legitimate too. But well that's embarrassing....though man, now he'll notice Clay who is now on the floor laughing]
[Sure, he's still got a big smile on his face and probably can't help the stray chuckle, but he'll go up behind Allen and wrap both arms loosely around his neck, leaning over to look at the communicator, then back at Ino to grin at her as well. See? He's totally fine.]
Cass, huh? I think I know her. [There are a couple of Cassandras on the fleet, after all.] Good luck to the both of them!
[... Good luck on the bootycall, IT'S STILL HILARIOUS]
[He rolls his eyes as Clay wraps his arms around him, leaning back a little against him and giving him a better view of the screen.] Arse.
[It's not said with any malice or anger though. Whatever Clay, at least you had a good laugh at all this misery and honestly Allen's just relieved this is almost done with.]
Yeah, Cass is a good person. I'm not sure at all what Alex's type is- but I hope they get along!

You might as well come over here. I can already hear your laughter from the other side of the ship.
