[He'll arrive on the ship a little while later, with a bag over his shoulder. His attire is a bit on the black side today. And he does notice the floor and walls as he steps aboard]
- Wow, this ship looks different too...!
[He says to no one in particular. Yeah, someone's pretty used to talking to Timcanpy ok]
Haha, welcome to the Vanquish! Fancy clothes and ties only. Keep the shoes off the classy floor!
[He grins in return, arms still out as he heads over to wrap Allen up in a hug when they meet.]
Hey. [After being on the Marsiva and getting to see Allen every day and whenever he wanted to, it's already weird going back to the "once or maybe twice a week" schedule.]
If you want my shoes off your floor, you'll have to carry me.
[And oh, he'll step right into that hug, taking it one step forward and giving him a kiss on the cheek as he returns the hug]
Hey. [He smiles as he feels those arms around him. He hated the Marsiva, but at least it had the benefit of getting to see Clay every day, unlike now.] I've missed you.
[Clay smiles from the kiss, then leans his head down to press his mouth to the dip of Allen's shoulder, shutting his eyes and just soaking in the feeling of being in his arms. Waking up on the Vanquish was a bit like coming home, yeah, but this felt like it was even more so in a way.]
Mmm. Missed you too. [Which comes out muffled, and so he rests his chin on that spot instead.] Even though it's only been like, what, a couple of days?
[Still, he's glad to be here. Even though he's cut off from the mindless entertainment of TV and video games, there's still a sense of familiarity here, a sense of what limited freedom they have which they didn't have on the Marsiva.]
A little...but I'm sure we'll get used to it again.
[Since as much as he liked being near Clay...they had their own crews to watch. And he was sure that's what came first in both of their minds]
My crew's all fine, glad to be back to ship. [It was like coming home, in a way] We have a new crewmate too- he's...extremely polite. Still trying to figure him out.
[And... yep, Allen would be right about that. He feels his smile grow in response as he holds him a bit tighter. But oh, new passenger, huh...]
Tell me how that goes, okay? [And as for his own crew...] We're all fine, and we got a new crewmate too. He's nice, but not... you know, extremely polite like yours. Oh, and he's a big, walking, talking suit of armor.
Yup. But man, it was still so cool, seeing what he looked like. And then when he stood up! I'm surprised the ship's big enough for him.
[Weird may be his new normal, but the awe-factor will probably never leave. Finally, Clay loosens his hold, but he feels so light and in love with this guy that he still keeps just as close, instead running his fingers from Allen's elbows to his hands, where he'll hold both of them with his own.]
Wanna go to my room? All the new designs are just out here, but...
I'd hope Atroma wouldn't be mean enough to bring someone who couldn't fit into the ships. [That'd just be cruel. This place is cramped enough] But sounds like I'll have to meet him.
[See this cool walking talking armor for himself! But when Clay takes his hands, he gives a squeeze back, smiling as he looks back at him.]
I wouldn't mind going to your room. I don't think I've seen it before.
[Since the barren one at the Marsiva hardly counted as his "room"]
It's, uh. It's kind of a mess. [He can't swipe at his nose or anything like this, but he can at least raise his shoulders a bit as if he were sheepish.] Soooo sorry in advance?
[Still, he'll take a few steps back, pulling Allen with him, then lets go of one hand to walk down the hallway easier.]
We still don't have the full upgrade for the bunks. I'm pretty much the only one with a nice bed.
[Which... does kind of make him feel bad, and it'll be one of his next purchases for sure.]
Wow, really? That's actually one of the first things we went for; my crew needs their space.
[Yeah, with them, it's not really a matter of wanting space, but needing it. Especially in Rogue's case. He'd rather not put her in an uncomfortable situation if he can help it.]
Mm, yeah, you do have a point. And you've got a lot more mouths to feed.
[Whereas Vanquish has two people who don't eat, so they don't have to worry as much. But anyway! He stops at the door nearest to the bridge, where he'll let go of Allen's hand to open it up.]
... Wait, hold on - [And he looks both ways, as if seeing if anyone else is around.
[He opens the door, gestures to the room, then starts to descend down the ladder.
It's already pretty obvious that the room's a bit of a mess. There seem to be papers everywhere; the ones on the wall are mostly drawings and sketches he made of planets, constellations, and people he's met, both on the fleet and back at home. The floor's home to most of the star charts he's collected and made as well as equations he's worked out, and also to Apollo the fish, off to a corner of the room. It's not so big right now, after all, and getting a stand for him would give Clay waaay less space to walk around in. There also seems to be a pool cue in another corner of the room.
On the bed is the galaxy comforter that Stefan gave to him for his birthday, and in the middle of it, a small book that, upon closer inspection, is a cheap Korean-English dictionary. The navy blue slippers he got are on the floor, too... on top of one of the papers, even.
When Clay gets to the third rung of the ladder, he lets out a "hup!", lets go, then catches himself on the last rung. Seems like he's been doing that for a while now.]
Haha, uh... onward to the stars? [He'll just. Slowly try nudging a few of the papers on the floor under the bed with his foot as Allen comes down.] Again, sorry for the mess.
[Okay so it was a little strange that Clay checked to make sure no one was around before they went in. What, was the location of his room a secret or something? It's not like the ships are that big...]
[But he'll climb in after him, waiting to make sure the way is clear before moving his legs to the side so he slides down the ladder- jumping off when he's about half a foot off the ground, landing gracefully. He then looks around....which man, the clutter reminds him a little of Komui's office. Or how his room in Paradisa would get whenever him and his friends were in the midst of researching a new monster threat. You know, just with stars instead of demons]
[He ends up smiling]
It's fine, I like it. [Finally when he finishes looking around the room, he'll nod and look back at Clay] I think it suits you.
[When you live with crew members who are neat freaks and will gladly destroy his zen to see his room nice and tidy... You gotta take some extra precautions, man.
Still, that gets him to stop his nudging of papers for a moment, a bit surprised by that. Again, living with crewmates who are neat freaks - or think it's adorable. Then he gives a grin, feels his face flush, and runs a hand through his hair.]
Really? I always got the opposite back home. People think since I work so hard, I must be a neat freak too.

c u in a bit!
[And he'll just... hang out near his room because he kind of wants Allen to see the new decor they got before heading out to greet him]

[It's his voice first, and then Clay himself as he rounds the corner, arms out to gesture to the floor and the arch of the doorway.]
It was like this when we got back! Pretty cool, huh?
Action; 11/27
Mm, I do like it. It's very classy! [a small grin] I feel like I should've worn a tie.

A walking, talking suit of armour...?
That's a new one.

Yup. But man, it was still so cool, seeing what he looked like. And then when he stood up! I'm surprised the ship's big enough for him.

[The horror of it! Nevermind his room is pretty cluttered on the regular]
Ah right, the captain's bed. [He's only seen one, never been on it] At least your ship have personal rooms. There's some that still don't.
Action; 11/27
[Which he's not! Totally not!! Just... likes a messy room better!]
Wow, really? That's actually one of the first things we went for; my crew needs their space.

[If calling him that makes him happy]
Mm, really! We didn't really bother to upgrade the bunks until we started getting women on our crew. Before that, our money went to kitchen upgrades.
[BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT MATTERS]
Action; 11/27
With that next part, he lets out a snort and laughs. Of course, of course,]
Of course you guys went with the kitchen first thing. Why am I not surprised?

Okay, good. No Pearl or Koushiro in sight.]
Okay... The captain's room awaits!

I mean, I don't see any dirty dishes or gross things, so it's not a pig sty. It's just clutter, because you're busy and got your mind on other things.
[And a little teasingly] Besides, if you were a neat freak, your hair would've driven you mad by now.
