And what was the point of the second movie?!

You know, the build-up to it was actually really good! I feel like if they just kept that part out, it would've been great. You know, his force power making everything around him bend and break, him falling to his knees... without the scream? That would've been the best.

To introduce the whole Clone Wars concept, of course! And to show off the extremely epic romance between Anakin and Padmé. Are you not convinced that it's the best love story ever?
