[Well it's definitely late at night, but that doesn't seem to matter to Allen as he's sure leaving a message on Clay's communicator. His tone sounds absolutely thrilled about something]

Clay! Clay are you there?

[Now, Clay does tend to go to bed early. Fortunately for Allen (and perhaps unfortunately for Clay), he's a pretty light sleeper, so the voice calling to him like that makes him wake up, head lifting up slightly while he blearily stares at the wall. Who the heck is calling him this late at night...?

Well, Clay's never one to ignore someone trying to contact him, especially when he picks up the device and realizes who it is. As a result of all that, it probably takes Clay a minute or two to answer, his voice sounding a bit groggy]

What? Yeah, hey, what's up?

[- Wow he does sound groggy]

Ah- were you asleep? Sorry-

[Wait no, not gonna apologize for this]

The 14th's gone. Or rather, he's been sealed away. But, he's not around anymore.

[... WHOA, OKAY, THAT WAKES HIM UP A BIT MORE]

What - Really? He's gone?

He's been sealed, yeah. And not by the augment either- someone else did it.

But I can't even feel him in my head anymore. Just...me.

[There's a bit of silence, and then the sound of rustling as Clay quickly gets out of bed]

Dude, that's - I'm coming over, okay? [There's a ton of excitement in his tone, too; The 14th's been sealed! Allen's just him now! This is incredible news!]

Okay!

Azula's gone, so the door's open!

Haha, even more great news!

[But Clay wastes no time getting there. And hey, now he doesn't have to ask to be let in! He's quick to land the shuttle and get out, and... well, at least he put on decent pajama pants rather than the boxers he sleeps in, but he still has the sleeveless shirt he likes to wear to bed too. Boy didn't even bother getting dressed properly; this was important, after all!]

[Allen meanwhile is in the cargo bay to greet Clay. He's still fully dressed and clearly still pumped. He'll approached Clay when he steps out of the shuttle, smile on his face]

Hey!

Hey you!

[With Allen there, Clay moves to him and throws his arms around his waist, and in the same motion, lifts him up to spin him around a few times]

Hey just you!

[He laughs as he gets spun around, holding onto Clay's shoulders]

Yeah, it's just me!

[When he lands on the ground, he'll keep his hands on Clay's shoulders as he smiles at him. ]

It almost feels like a dream.

I'll say! I still feel like I'm dreaming!

[Considering Clay was sleeping before this happened and all. He keeps his arms around Allen's waist, holding him close as he gives a big and excited grin]

So - How'd it happen? How'd you get the 14th sealed?

It was Robin, actually. From the Bloodsport?

He'd mentioned looking into it months ago and he ran some tests, but I figured he hadn't found anything. But then today, he shows up with a spell that he crafted himself!

[Yeaaah, he has no idea who Robin is. But hey! He helped out Allen immensely, and while Clay can't be in Allen's shoes, he still knows just how important this is to him, how life changing this moment is for him - for the both of them, really, since Clay plans on being in this for the long haul.]

That's incredible! And you really can't feel the 14th at all?

Yeah- it's like my head's clear in the first time in forever.

[Honestly, he couldn't remember the last time he felt like this. Not without losing his powers entirely anyway]

I know he's still in there, it's just a seal- but it feels so much better.

[Clay's hand moves up during Allen's explanation, until he can thread his fingers through the hair at the back of his head]

I'm really happy for you, Starlight.

[He pulls Allen's head forward a bit, dipping his own as well, to rest their foreheads together]

I'm so happy for you.

[His arms move around Clay's neck so it's more of a hug as their foreheads touch. He was always happy when he got to be near Clay, but tonight had a whole new level of it. He was finally free of the pain he's felt for the past six years. No more would he have to deal with fear in the back of his mind that he was unsafe to be around those he loved. He was getting better, for real this time]

I just...Just think. Now maybe someday I'll be able to get this augment out of my head without worry, even actually age... [A future. Maybe he could have an actual future]
