Yeah, or at least I look like I'm clearly in my twenties. Nine months of payment would be a lot...

But until then, every month, it's a new age.

Ha! That almost sounds like some kind of movie trailer line! Every month, it's a new age.

[He pulls back to take Allen's hand and start leading him away, back towards his room now]

But seriously, if you need help paying for it, I'd be happy to lend you some credits. I still got some left over.

[He snickers as Clay takes his hand] You're right! It does. [In a corny trailer voice impression] In a world where every month, it's a new age...

[He follows along, going back to his regular voice]

Thank you, but you're sure? Upgrades are a lot of money...

[He laughs from that corny impression, leaning over to bump Allen's shoulder briefly with his own]

Yeah, I'm sure! Constellation tattoo #5 will just have to wait a little while longer. I feel like this is more important.

Ha- alright, fine. I'd appreciate the help!

But don't think I won't be paying you back for it! [Whether it be by money or well, other means, whose to say]

Ha! I expect a generous payback.

[Though he's totally not expecting money. He's not the kind of guy to care too much about that, unlike Allen here. At least this means Allen doesn't have to cut out some money just to pay him back?]

And I hope you visit every time the age upgrade comes through. I wanna see what you look like as you finally catch up!

... In fact, do you mind if I take a picture when we get to my room?

Of course I'll visit! [Any excuse to see Clay is good with him, honestly] Assuming I still have clothes that fit, of course.

[And oh, he raises an eyebrow at that, still looking amused.]

I don't know. What kind of picture are you talking about?

You can wear mine! I know I've got some clothes over in your closet.

[It's just a thing with them now. Clay's got some of Allen's clothes in his closet, and vice-versa. It's so much easier than having to remember to bring clothes every time, especially when they weren't expecting to, uh, lose them in the first place.]

Oh, you know. Comparison shots. What you look like from sixteen to seventeen, seventeen to eighteen... [He raises an eyebrow in return] It could just be from the neck up, though it might be nice to see how your body fills out.

Really? You don't mind? That'll probably help some, though maybe not with the height - sorry. I'll just have to ask Sansa to sew me something.

[Yeah okay so he already sometimes wears Clay's clothing without his permission- but it still seems polite to ask!]

[That makes him laugh a little as they reach the door of Clay's quarters] Hmmmmm...!

Yeah! Just for now, until Sansa can make you some new ones. They still might be a little big on you, since, well...

[He gestures to his own shoulders and whatnot as he opens the door, allowing Allen inside first.]

Yeah, I know. You're still bigger than I am. I don't think that'll change.

[He goes inside, sliding down the ladder and then stepping out of the way for Clay. Trying to find a spot that's not covered in Clay's mess, he'll work on kicking off his boots.]

[He too slides down the ladder, then kicks off his own shoes in the corner of his room. There is indeed still a mess, though at least he's somewhat organizing some of it so that his floor isn't entirely covered in notes and observations.]

Yeah, you're already going to be taller than me. [Well, Allen already was, but now he'll be noticeably taller.] I've at least gotta have one thing on you!

Yeah! And I hope you'll still be able to lift me too when this is done!

[Since he likes when Clay does that spinning thing ok. But yeah sorry Clay he's not holding his breath on that organization attempt lasting. If it does, good for Clay. But he's long gotten used to and accepted his boyfriend's clutter habits. With his shoes, off, he'll climb onto the bed. ]

So do you have your camera?

Of course I'll be able to!

[Unless Allen somehow tripled his weight during this whole age up process. Otherwise, trust him, Clay's going to have no trouble at all lifting Allen up.

At that question, Clay fiddles with the device to get to the camera settings, then gives a thumbs up.]

Yup! Camera's ready to go. [He looks at Allen with a raised eyebrow] So first, I think I'll take a picture just the way you are now. Then we'll see how the rest of you looks.

[Yeah don't worry, unless Allen's metabolism freezes over night, that's never gonna happen no matter how much he ages.]

Okay!

[He shifts around a bit, trying to make sure he looks presentable and photogenic. This of course means he keeps fiddling with his hair until he thinks he looks good- not that it's at all obvious to tell the difference. ]

Okay, I'm ready.
